This donation is one in a series of activities through which Mplus, a regional leader in the BPTO industry, aims to help organizations and institutions provide better and more accessible services.

"This initiative is not just an expression of our corporate social responsibility, but also a tangible contribution to the development of these noble organizations and institutions. We are proud to support the employees of organizations that care for the most vulnerable segments of society, including the sick and the young. We consider investing in their progress extremely important for our shared future," stated Tomislav Glavaš, CEO of Mplus, which is part of the BPTO vertical BOSQAR INVEST.

The total estimated value of the donation is €24,340, consisting of 154 computers, with the largest allotment donated to the Rare Diseases Croatia (HSRB) organization. This umbrella organization brings together 36 formal associations of patients with rare diseases, several informal parent groups, and almost 1,200 individual members.

The computers will be used by employees and volunteers of HSRB and its member associations, including the Association of Sarcoidosis Patients, the Association of Parents of Children with Extremely Short Stature, Niemann-Pick Croatia, the Association of Children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and their Family Members in Croatia, the Association of ALS and Other Rare Diseases Patients - Neuron, the Croatian Scleroderma Association - HUOS, the Association for Support of Multiple Myeloma Patients - MijelomCRO, and the Croatian Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (HULL).

These associations comprise patients and parents of children with rare diseases in Croatia. They aim to facilitate their work, access information on available medications and treatment methods, legal advice on exercising special rights, and psychological support.

"For people with rare diseases, this donation of computers will mean easier access to information, better communication, as well as help with education, work, and other activities. We thank the donors who recognized our mission and supported the continuation of our activities with their donation," said HSRB Secretary, Mag. Soc. Ida Mirković Knaus.

A donation of 30 computers will further ease and speed up daily operations at the Children's Hospital Zagreb (KDBZ), which will use the donation to replace older equipment that has been in use.

The Director of the Children's Hospital Zagreb, Prof. Dr. Sc. Goran Roić, M.D., stated that any community assistance further strengthens and enhances the quality and focus of staff on the healthcare of children and adolescents, the most vulnerable members of society.

Mplus also donated 20 computers each to Granešina Primary School and Kustošija Primary School, enabling the schools to modernize their computer classrooms and provide students with a "21st-century school" environment.

Mplus has already supported the public sector through several investments this year, forming partnerships with the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb and the Brave Phone (Hrabri telefon) organization.

Investing in the education sector is a new step in supporting the community in which the group operates.
